As cliched as it may sound, the simple review of these headphones are that I can hear significantly more detail and granularity in the same songs I've been listening for the past 2 decades.
The soundstage is very open and very clear, leaning more towards neutral without sounding harsh. Bass response is detailed and not exaggerated - I was pleasantly surprised to discover that some of my favorite metal songs from Morbid Angel and Mastodon had tons of detail that I never knew previously. Great for Instrumental music and pretty good for almost all music genres. Fit is comfortable for long listening sessions.
I must thank Gears for Ears for recommending me to pick up a DAC/amp, the difference is real.

The process to claim warranty for each brand is different. For HiFiMAN, it's required that you get in touch with them directly.
As long as you have your invoice which serves as your proof of purchase, any HiFiMAN service center that services headphones should be in a position to fulfill your warranty claim request. If you’ve bought the product from Gears For Ear's webstore but have misplaced your invoice, you can simply contact us with your order number and we will send you your invoice. But if you’ve bought the product from any other offline store or online portal, you will have to contact the seller directly before contacting the service center.
The warranty period starts from the date mentioned on the invoice, which is why the invoice copy is imperative for you to claim warranty.
In case you aren't getting any help from the brand or are facing any issues with warranty, please let us know. We will try our best to intervene and get you the help that you need.
