It features larger professional drivers that deliver more power and enable precise frequency tuning.
The SP5 is no longer limited to your desk. It integrates seamlessly into your existing setup, creating a complete home hi-fi system. Whether you're enjoying music, immersing yourself in a movie in your living room, enjoying audiovisual entertainment in your study, or doing professional audio editing, the SP5 delivers a breathtakingly spacious soundstage that provides a captivating listening experience for every listening experience.

5.25-inch “Continuum” composite fiber woofer for deep and powerful bass

The SP5 features a 5.25-inch woofer with a diaphragm made from a similar “Continuum” composite fiber material as used in the legendary B&W 700 series. To achieve incredible sound even in larger rooms, FiiO has carefully refined every detail of the driver, from the diaphragm material to the magnetic circuit system, the driver suspension, and the voice coil.
This careful construction ensures outstanding rigidity and control, allowing the SP5 to reproduce intense, dynamic music without the slightest distortion. The result is deep and powerful bass for a rich, full-bodied sound that is both precise and responsive. Every little detail is reproduced accurately and impressively.

Linear composite fiber diaphragm

This diaphragm has excellent durability and strength, which prevents breakup at high power and keeps distortion in the playback frequency range below 1%.

Symmetrical magnetic circuit

Provides a magnetic field strength of more than 1.2 Tesla. Large-diameter, long-throw voice coil A large 30 mm long-throw voice coil, rare in its class, reduces moving mass so it can move enough to deliver powerful, dynamic reproduction.

NBR rubber suspension

Its high flexibility and fatigue resistance, as well as its spiral grooved design, prevent nonlinear distortion in music with strong impulses.
*Want your speakers to perform at their best faster? We recommend playing music continuously for about 48 hours (“break-in”). After that, you will find that the sound is even more pleasant.

1-inch soft silk dome composite tweeter for clear and smooth highs

The SP5 tweeter is not only made of high-quality materials, but is also acoustically perfect in design. The FiiO development team has developed an innovative soft, hemispherical structure inside the dome that precisely absorbs harmful harmonics from the rear of the diaphragm. The result is significantly purer and more transparent highs.
To achieve the high-end hi-fi goals of low resonance and high power handling, the SP5 features a groundbreaking large cavity design on the rear. This innovative design makes it possible to lower the high frequencies to an impressive 800 Hz. It also ensures that the driver can relieve pressure even at frequencies above 20 kHz, which drastically reduces unwanted resonances.

Cooling technology for the tweeter magnet circuit

The SP5's high-frequency reproduction reaches a new level of sophistication, becoming silky smooth and pleasantly fluid. It effortlessly brings out every subtle detail in your music.
The SP5's tweeter uses a precisely engineered waveguide to optimize near-field listening. It precisely controls the direction of sound and, together with the horizontal stripes on the front, significantly expands the soundstage.
*Cooling technology for the tweeter magnetic circuit – a cooling and damping system with magnetic fluid for a better extended and resolved high frequency range.

Independent 120W power supplies

Ensure that the main and secondary speakers have ample power without interfering with each other. FiiO's self-developed high-performance switching power supply delivers a robust 120W of power to each SP5 speaker.
Thanks to these ample power reserves, the speakers can effortlessly reproduce any type of dynamic music, while universal voltage support allows you to take your speakers anywhere. A clean power supply is essential for true high-fidelity sound. The SP5 uses a multi-stage rectification and filter architecture to independently power the output stage, significantly reducing interference.
A revolutionary transformer resonance system converts a single power source into a dual symmetrical power supply, providing clean, stable energy to the critical front-end circuits. This design eliminates DC-DC noise at the source, resulting in an excellent signal-to-noise ratio and a darker background with clearer details. The intelligent power-saving mode* has been carefully designed for energy efficiency and features extremely low standby power consumption. The speakers activate instantly when music playback begins and are always ready to deliver breathtaking sound.
*Energy-saving mode is enabled by default and features an automatic standby and activation function. You can disable this feature in the app if you do not want the device to automatically enter standby mode.

60 W*2+20 W*2 independent four-way power

Precise and powerful energy transfer
The SP5's main and secondary speakers each contain a renowned Texas Instruments (TI) TPA3116D2 Class D digital stereo amplifier that drives each channel independently. The amplifiers enable an output power of up to 60 W*2 for the woofers and up to 20 W*2 for the tweeters.
The TPA3116D2 is also designed for reliability and features built-in protection against short circuits, overheating, and voltage fluctuations. In the event of an overload, the processor is alerted to prevent damage.

XLR balanced input

Pro audio DNA
The balanced XLR interface is widely used in professional audio equipment. Compared to standard RCA jacks, its main advantage is high noise immunity, making it ideal for long-distance transmission while delivering a higher-quality audio signal.
The SP5 features a professional balanced XLR input. It uses three-pin differential transmission, where hot (+) and cold (-) signals are sent simultaneously. The special ground cable blocks external interference, eliminating over 90% of common-mode interference. This completely eliminates interference even when transmitting signals over long distances.
*If the main speaker uses the XLR input, the secondary speaker can only use the XLR input.
**When using the XLR input, RCA audio cables are not required.
***The XLR input supports both XLR3 and TRS 6.35.
****The XLR input supports independent volume control.

Low-noise, high-precision electronic volume control

Equipped with a robust composite encoder and a precise core
The SP5 uses the high-precision, low-noise NJW1195A electronic volume control in each speaker. This volume control features an electronic potentiometer with a resistive ladder that has low imbalance and low output noise of typically -118 dBV (1.26 µVrms). It also features an extremely low distortion rate of only 0.0003%. The wide volume range from +31.5 dB to -95 dB can be adjusted in fine steps of 0.5 dB, enabling precise volume control.
By using a chip typically found in high-end headphone amplifiers and combining it with carefully tuned circuits, the SP5 achieves a signal-to-noise ratio of 100 dB.

Bluetooth version V5.1

Supports high-resolution Bluetooth codecs for excellent wireless sound
The SP5 is powered by a Qualcomm QCC5125 Bluetooth chip, which offers 24-bit audio processing and advanced DSP for an enhanced listening experience. It supports multiple Bluetooth codecs, including SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX LL, aptX HD, LDAC, and aptX Adaptive, enabling high-quality wireless sound.
The SP5 can transmit audio wirelessly at up to 990 kbps, allowing you to enjoy detailed wireless sound. Thanks to its high-resolution capabilities and LDAC support, it has received both Hi-Res Audio and Hi-Res Wireless Audio certification.

Supports two-stage bass and treble adjustment, as well as two options for extending the low frequency range

50 Hz/60 Hz setting for extending the low frequency range
Conventional 5.25-inch passive speakers often struggle to reproduce sounds below 55 Hz. The bass extension function overcomes this limitation by utilizing technologies that go beyond the physical limitations of the hardware. A special circuit extends the frequency response in the low frequency range, providing stronger bass, faster transients, and a deeper sound stage, all of which result in richer, deeper, and more layered bass.
When listening to music, you can choose how deep you want the bass extension to go to suit different music genres. For movies and games, bass extension can enhance the impact of the bass for an even more immersive experience.
-2 dB/0 dB/+2 dB Treble Adjustment
+2 dB: This setting boosts the high frequencies to improve the presence and detail of the sound. For example, when mixing, using +2 dB makes it easier to hear the subtle details in each track. This is ideal for music genres where high frequency clarity is crucial, such as string and electronic music.
-2 dB: This setting reduces the energy of the high frequencies to prevent the sound from becoming shrill or hissing. This is ideal for listening to classical music or any other music that requires a natural sound, or in any environment where you need to reduce unwanted reflections.
0 dB/+3 dB/+6 dB Bass Adjustment The bass boost function amplifies frequencies below 100 Hz for richer, more impressive bass. It can also be used to reduce interference from room standing waves and balance the sound. At the same time, this feature can solve the problem of muffled bass in small rooms and also deliver the powerful sound required for larger rooms.

Supports remote control via the FiiO Control app, ten-band PEQ

For an even better listening experience, the FiiO SP5 offers precise control via the FiiO Control app. Once connected via Bluetooth, you can use the app to manage your input source, Bluetooth codec, RGB lighting, and power saving settings.
You can also use the app for advanced sound adjustments. Fine-tune the sound by adjusting the frequency response curve with a 10-band PEQ based on FiiO's proprietary algorithms.

Housing made of 650°C liquid aluminum of aviation quality, manufactured using a die-casting process that significantly reduces resonance

Each SP5 speaker enclosure is made from a single 10 kg block of aluminum, melted and cast at 650°C. This state-of-the-art metalworking pushes the boundaries of acoustic physics.
• The high-density aluminum is 300% stiffer than MDF wood enclosures. Combined with a uniform inner wall structure, unwanted resonances are significantly suppressed.
• A precision manufacturing process reduces the weight of the enclosure by 30%, from 10 kg to 7 kg. This allows for a larger internal volume in a smaller speaker, which improves low-frequency performance.
• Natural heat sink: The aluminum naturally dissipates heat, ensuring stable performance at high power levels.
• Electromagnetic shielding: The metal shell provides electromagnetic shielding for clearer sound.
Diffuser-shaped horizontal stripes and a curved cabinet structure that prevents standing waves effectively eliminate unwanted vibrations. The dimensions of the SP5 cabinet have been carefully calculated to prevent standing waves, and the drivers are angled for perfect phase alignment. In addition, the smooth, rounded edges minimize sound diffraction. The result is a flat frequency response and exceptional sound imaging.
The diffuser-shaped horizontal stripes on the surface of the cabinet are not just for looks. Each one is precisely placed to serve as structural reinforcement and make the cabinet resistant to strong vibrations. Together with the curved anti-standing wave structure, unwanted resonances are effectively eliminated.

Two high-quality oxygen-free copper power cables from Furukawa are included to ensure a pure power supply

To ensure a pure power supply, the SP5 comes with two Furukawa power cables made of oxygen-free copper, which are manufactured from the same materials as the separately available LAC-03.
