The new LCD-S20 closed back headphone, is our first planar headphone featuring the patent-pending SLAM technology for powerful bass response and improved spatial imaging, along with a new magnetic earpad attachment system.

SLAM, short for symmetric linear acoustic modulator, is a new, patent-pending technology introduced on our flagship CRBN2 electrostatic headphone in late 2024. 

LCD-S20 becomes our most affordable LCD headphone, creating new opportunities for budding producers, musicians, and audiophiles in need of acoustic isolation to access studio-trusted sound quality. 

Being closed back, these are ideal for tracking in the recording studio. The superior transient/impulse response of our planar magnetic drivers means you’ll easily perceive the timing of the click track or the snare drum to help keep you on time. The excellent passive noise reduction prevents microphone bleed and protects your hearing.
