The Softears Studio 4 is a 4-driver balanced armature in-ear monitor built for studio recording, mixing and stage monitoring, where a wide, evenly balanced frequency response matters more than an exaggerated sound signature.

Closed-Back Isolation

A closed-back balanced armature design gives strong isolation from outside noise, making Studio 4 a monitoring tool that stays consistent regardless of location — suited to on-location recording, studio sessions and stage use alike.

Refined, Thinner Shell

The medical-grade resin shell is 3D printed and builds on the fit developed for Softears' RS series, with a thinner cavity and reduced nozzle spacing for a more comfortable, ergonomic fit and wider compatibility with third-party eartips.

4-Driver, 3-Way Crossover

Four balanced armature drivers are split across a 3-way crossover network engineered around the output characteristics of professional recording interfaces. The result is an easy-to-drive IEM with a near-flat impedance curve, giving consistent sound across different output devices, plus tightly matched phase response for accurate stereo imaging.

Stable Cable Connection

The stock cable uses a four-petal elastic-sleeve 0.78mm connector, a 10-micron ultra-thick gold-plated plug, and double-twisted oxygen-free copper conductors for a reliable, low-oxidation connection.
