To commemorate the company’s 60th anniversary, Audio-Technica released a limited-edition Sound Burger portable turntable in November 2022 – four decades after its original debut. We have seen the success and overwhelming response on the 60th anniversary release of SB2022, having sold out worldwide shortly after launch. Inspired by the response and acknowledging the voices of fans who were not able to purchase the SB2022, A-T will be releasing the SB727 to make the Sound Burger more widely accessible and inspire the next generation of Analog Enthusiasts. Pairing a playful retro design that comes in 3 colours with portability, the Sound Burger stays true to its original aesthetic while also including modern updates, such as Bluetooth connectivity and USB charging.
Portable Record Player
Thanks to its Bluetooth connection and compact, lightweight design, the AT-SB727 is the perfect travel partner. From sampling vinyl at record fairs to sing-along parties with friends – keep your records spinning wherever you go by connecting to your Bluetooth headphones or speakers.*
The Sound Burger remembers your paired device after initial pairing, automatically connecting to your Bluetooth speakers or headphones when you press the power button.
*This product does not produce direct sound. Separate wireless (Bluetooth) active speakers or headphones, or a stereo system with line connection (such as AUX), are required.
12 Hours of Power
Enjoy 12 hours of listening with the Sound Burger’s powerful battery life. Keep the records spinning all day and recharge at night!
Wired or Wireless Listening
In addition to the Bluetooth functionality, you can connect to active speakers with the included audio cable.*
*Supports LINE output. You can connect the included cable to an amplifier or active speaker that has an AUX terminal.
USB Type-C™ Charging
Plug in and power up, thanks to handy USB-C charging with the included cable.*
*This product does not come with a USB power adapter (for charging from an AC outlet). Please use a USB power adapter with 5V output and 500mA or more, or charge from a USB port on a personal computer, etc.
Analog Audio Experience
Developed with 60 years of experience in analog audio, the Sound Burger offers high-quality sound reproduction with a belt-drive system that plays 33-1/3 and 45 RPM records.
To achieve both portability and stability, the tonearm employs a dynamic balance system in which stylus pressure is applied via a spring. In addition, a high-precision DC motor maintains stable rotation.
The stylus on the Sound Burger can be replaced with the ATN3600L (sold separately).
